Designations CBI, M&AMI Licensed agent since 1992 Previous Employment Business Owner President/CEO With CII since 1994 Cress entered the business brokerage profession in 1994 as an agent for CII. He drew on his past experience as an owner of various types of businesses to help his clients meet or exceed their objectives. Using the systems and techniques he developed he soon became the most successful agent in the history of CII. In 1997 he purchased half of CII and implemented a training program that consisted of what he learned during the previous three years. As a partner, Cress has helped grow CII from a one office 10-agent company to a five office 50-agent company. In 1999 CII moved to its newly purchased office building near downtown Orlando, and formed a separate M&A Division. Cress became a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and M&A Source in 1999 as well. He achieved the professional designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) in 2000. In 2002 he achieved the professional designation of Merger and Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI). There are fewer than 100 people in the world that hold both of these distinguished professional designations. Since joining the IBBA he has been a member of the education committee and has been the chairman of the affiliates, membership, finance and conference planning committees. He was elected to the board of directors in 2002. During his two terms he has served as Secretary, Treasurer and Vice-Chairman. He will become the Chairman in November 2007. In 2007, ten years after becoming an owner of Corporate Investment International, and with the help of his awesome partners and dedicated associates, Cress was proud to announce that CII will begin to offer franchises throughout the world.
