Richard E. Read, M&AMI, Lifetime CBI, CBB, SBA, Fellow of the IBBA, Chairman/Broker of Corporate Investment International, Inc. Mr. Read has forty years experience in starting up and operating businesses. He is Chairman/Broker of his present merger & acquisition, business brokerage and consulting firm, which he built into five offices and is the largest firm of this type in Florida. He has held the post of Vice President, General Manager of various manufacturing companies in the United States and Europe and has held various management positions with Ford Motor Company and General Motors Corporation. He has successfully started up and operated several businesses in the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. Read holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the General Motors Institute and has completed graduate studies at the University of Michigan and the Harvard Business School. He holds a Real Estate Broker�s License and a Series 7 Security�s License. He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and holds the designation of Lifetime Certified Business Intermediary and Fellow of the IBBA. He is a member of the M&A Source group and holds the designation of Master Merger Acquisition Intermediary. He is a member of the Business Brokers Florida and holds the designation of Certified Business Broker. He is Past President of the Orlando Chapter of F.B.B.A., past Chairman of the State F.B.B.A. and has been given an Honorary Lifetime Membership for his many years of service to the organization. He is a past member of the Institute of Business Appraisers.
Mr. Read is a member of the following area association: Executive Association of Greater Orlando. He is a member of Association for Corporate Growth. Mr. Read is a Rotarian and a charter member of the Maitland Center Rotary Club.
